1. The person attending the Desert Underground Sound Tribe ("DUST") event (you) voluntarily assumes all risk of property loss or damage, personal or bodily injury, serious injury or death which may occur by attending DUST. You hereby forever release, discharge and shall hold DUST harmless from any claims arising from such risk even if caused by the negligent act, error, or omission of DUST or it's officers, volunteers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, or representatives.

 

2. You must bring enough food, water, shelter, and first aide to survive two days in a harsh environment.

 

3. Firearms are prohibited.

 

4. Art installations, theme camps, vehicles at the event, and performances are not owned or operated by DUST and you hereby voluntarily assume all risk or injury or death arisen from their operation.

 

5. Use other than personal use of images or photographs from DUST, or of drawings or representations of DUST in a book or in any advertisement, or the phrase DUST or Desert Underground Sound Tribe in the title of any publication or in any advertisement, is prohibited without prior written consent of DUST.

 

6. Your image may be captured on film, video, or photographs without your consent or compensation. You hereby appoint DUST as your representative to protect your intellectual property or privacy rights, recognizing that DUST has no obligation to take any such action.

 

7. Children under the age of 18 can attend the event only accompanied by a parent or legal guardian; any person bringing a child to the event agrees on behalf of the child to the contractual terms herein and acknowledges that they have made a choice that the children be exposed to the activities and dress at the event.

 

8. Ticket price is not refundable even if the event is terminated due to harsh weather, acts of nature, governmental regulation or conditions beyond DUST's control. DUST is not liable for acts of God, or actions taken by government agencies.

 

9. This is a LEAVE NO TRACE, pack it in, PACK IT OUT event. This entrance admission fee is a revocable license that may be revoked by DUST at any time.

 

10. You are to abide by all the rules and not wander off into the desert beyond the designated camp area and you must follow federal, state, and local laws.

 

11. You are requested to spend 30 minutes of area cleanup around your own camp to ensure nothing is left behind: litter, equipment, or trash of any kind.
